At Windham we believe excellent attendance is vital in ensuring your child reaches their full potential socially, emotionally and academically. We want to encourage children to create good habits that will benefit them throughout their school journey. The more time children spend at nursery the better their relationships will become, they will feel more settled and most importantly they will begin to develop a love of learning.

If your child does not attend nursery please expect a phone call from us. We operate a ‘first day’ absence policy, if your child is absent you should contact the school office on: 0208 831 6060.

Holidays

It is our policy that holidays should not be taken during term time. The school requires at least two weeks written notice of any term time absences. You can find the absence request form in the attachment below.

Please let us know when there is a change to the usual collection arrangements by informing a member of staff or writing in 'the book' when you drop off your child. If your child is being collected by someone new please email the school office their name and a recent photo of them.
